Ask Vedanta · Love Failure
What is left when the person is gone and the attachment is not.
Love failure is an awkward phrase and still the right search: the relationship ended in fact, and the grip did not end with it. The text does not schedule your relief. Guidance, not prediction, with a Sanskrit shloka for your situation. Free, no birth details.

They have left the story. You are still writing their chapter
The bhagavad gita on love failure is searched by people who already know the facts and cannot make the body agree with them. Their name still rearranges your evening. A song, a street, a notification shape that is not theirs, and heat arrives as if the ending had not happened. You are not confused about whether it is over. You are confused about why the over has not arrived inside you on the same calendar.
Raga, attachment, is not romance as a mood board. It is the sticking. You refresh a page you should not open. You draft messages you delete. You rehearse the version of the conversation that would have kept them. Moving on, as a slogan, assumes the grip has already loosened. You are asking when the hurt stops because the grip is still doing its job. The question sounds like a request for comfort. Underneath it is often a request for control: if you knew the hour, you could endure until then. The verse does not sell the hour.
Nothing useful here pretends the sensation is noble or that silence from them is a spiritual curriculum. The contact still produces pleasure and pain the way cold and heat do. The instruction in the primary verse is endurance of that coming and going, not a theory of why they left, and not a calendar promise for when the attachment is finished. You can hate that the verse refuses a schedule. Hating the refusal does not create a schedule. It only proves how badly you wanted one. Ordinary life continues around the spike: work, meals, mutual friends. That continuation is not betrayal of the grief. It is the lotus problem in another key, acting while still wet.

राग
Raga
Attachment that keeps returning to what is gone, so the absence still has the power of a present contact.
Raga shows up as heat when their name appears and cold when the day is ordinary without them. You check whether they viewed something. You narrate their new life in worse detail than you know. You call it closure hunting when it is contact seeking by another door. You tell yourself one more look will settle something. It settles nothing; it restocks the heat. The body keeps scoring the relationship as live because the attachment never got the memo the facts sent. Facts can be clear while the nervous system still runs the old route home.
They have moved on and I have not. When does this stop hurting?

The verse for this
mātrāsparśāstu kaunteya śītoṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ| āgamāpāyino 'nityās tāṃs titikṣasva bhārata||2.14||
Contacts of the senses bring cold and heat, pleasure and pain. They come and go; they are not permanent. Endure them.
This is the verse for love failure when you want a why and the text gives a weather report instead. Contacts bring heat and cold, pleasure and pain. They arrive and they leave. They are not permanent. Endure them. There is no clause that explains why this person could walk away while you cannot. There is no clause that dates the last spike. Enduring is the instruction: stay through the sensation without turning it into a verdict that the pain is your permanent address, and without demanding a story that makes the contact make sense. People want the why because the why feels like a lever. If you understood, maybe you could fix the feeling. The verse declines the lever. It classifies the feeling with weather. Weather is endured; it is not cross examined into obedience. Bhagavad gita on moving on, read through this line, is not a pep talk. It is permission to stop hunting for a moral that will cancel the heat. The heat can still come. The claim that it is everlasting is what the verse denies. It is not permanent. That is not a comfort, it is a description.

What an answer looks like
An example, not a real conversation.
“They are posting with someone new. I know I should stop looking. It still wrecks my afternoon. When does this stop?”
The post is a contact. Heat arrives. Cold follows when you put the phone down and the room is only your room again. You are asking for a date when contacts like that lose their charge. The verse does not sell that date. It says the contacts themselves are the kind of thing that comes and goes.
Raga keeps the feed relevant after the relationship is not. Closing the app once is not a personality change. It is interrupting one contact so the afternoon is not spent rehearsing a life you are not in. You can still hurt while you do that. Hurt and checking are not the same action.
Do not dress the spike as a lesson you failed to learn. Do not ask a chat for the hour when the hurt is finished. Name what happened: contact, heat, the wish to undo the ending. Then one concrete stop, tonight, not forever as a vow you break by morning.
The next honest step is endurance of this particular spike without a story that they owe you an explanation that would switch the pain off. The sensation has an end in the verse’s grammar. Your calendar does not get to demand the verse’s schedule.

The usual reading, and the text
People treat love failure as a puzzle to solve: if you understood why they left, or became someone better, the attachment would release on command.
Bhagavad Gita 2.14 does not solve the puzzle. It classifies the pain with cold and heat, contacts that arrive and leave, and orders endurance. The teaching is the refusal to pretend permanence where the text says impermanence. Understanding may still matter for your boundaries and your safety. Understanding is not the same currency as ending the sensation on command. Keep the difference visible when the mind offers another autopsy of the relationship as if the autopsy were medicine.

What the other verses add
Acting while still wet
The person who acts while dedicating the action and dropping clinging is not stained, as a lotus leaf is not wetted by water.
You still have to answer mail, go to work, see mutual friends. This verse is not numbness. It is the picture of action that does not have to be dry before it can be done. Clinging is the wetness that soaks every ordinary task in the old story. Dropping clinging here means doing the next required thing without demanding that it also heal you. Send the work email. Eat the meal. Leave the reunion fantasy out of both.
Without turning them into an enemy
adveṣṭā sarvabhūtānāṃ maitraḥ karuṇa eva ca| nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ samaduḥkhasukhaḥ kṣamī||12.13||
Without hatred for any being, friendly and compassionate, without possessiveness or pride, even in pain and pleasure, and forgiving.
Krishna quotes in hindi for love often get shared as soft romance. This line is sterner and kinder: you do not have to invent hatred to survive the ending. Friendliness here is not a reunion plan. It is refusing to let the attachment convert into a private war that keeps them at the centre of every hour. Hatred is another form of contact. It still organises the day around them. The verse sketches a person who can feel pain without needing an enemy to hold the pain in place.
What this page will not do
- It will not give you a date when the hurt clocks out.
- It will not explain why they could leave while you cannot.
- It will not turn their silence into a curriculum you failed.
- It will not coach you into a winning message that brings them back.
- It will not pretend the spike means the ending was unreal.

Questions
Bhagavad gita quotes for love failure+
In 2.14 it classifies the pain with contacts that bring heat and cold. They come and go; they are not permanent; endure them. That is not a reunion strategy and not a timeline. It is a description of sensation plus an instruction to stay through it without inventing permanence. The why you want may still matter for boundaries. It is not a switch that turns the heat off on command.
Bhagavad gita on moving on+
Bhagavad gita on moving on, here, means interrupting contact seeking and enduring the spike without a why that cancels it. Secondary lines add acting without soaking every task in clinging, and refusing to convert attachment into hatred that keeps them centred. One feed closed tonight is a move. A personality reboot is not required for the move to count.
Krishna quotes in hindi for love+
Krishna quotes in hindi for love are often soft. Prefer 2.14 for the weather of the pain, 5.10 for ordinary duties while still raw, and 12.13 when you feel yourself turning them into an enemy to survive. Soft romance posters rarely interrupt the check. These lines do, if you obey the interruption rather than collect the calligraphy.
Will talking to the chat make the pain end?+
No chat here should promise an end date. Bring the spike you are in if you want the pattern named. Do not come for a schedule. The verse’s claim is impermanence of the contact sensation, not a booking on your calendar. If you leave with only the spike named more cleanly, that is already the honest use of the bridge.
